Reconstitution of the Board of Governors for IISSM
On the occasion of the XVth Annual International Seminar, the Chairman, IISSM, had reconstituted the Board of Governors of the IISSM.

Note:
Foundation nominees will retire in 2009 and shall be eligible for re-nomination by Founder member of the society. Elected positions will be filled by election. All members, delegates, faculties and officials attending annual seminars will form the electoral college for the election. Election will be organized through secret ballot. Elected positions will be filled in the following manner:
- Every year three BOG members will retire by rotation.
- Till 2009 Executive committee comprising of the (a) Chairman (b) Executive Chairman (c) President & DG and (d) two Executive President will decide which of three members against elected positions will retire, which year. After 2009 a rotation will be automatically formed and every elected member will serve on the board for 4 continuous years.
- Three BOG members to be elected every year in the following manners:
- One post of Third Vice President will be filled. Candidate may belong to delegate or faculties category.
- One BOG member each will be elected from “Service User” and “Service Provider” category.
Third Vice President will be promoted to the position of 2nd Vice President during the second year and to the position of 1st Vice President during the third year. First Vice President can be promoted to the post of President, provided minimum ¾ or 75% members of the BOG favour filling the post of the President by promotion. Otherwise, BOG may decide to elect the president directly amongst any member of 5 years good standing along with 3rd Vice President and 2 BOG members or Chairman may constitute a search committee for the purpose. Each BOG member will be in-charge of a geographical area as well as one or more function areas at the discretion of the Chairman for which Chairman will notify for time to time.
