Dear Mr. Nath,  I thank you for sending me the IISSM News letters regularly by email. You have been taking commendable efforts in making the monthly web-based News Letter more informative and more broad based covering a lot more areas of relevance. It was really interesting to see in the currently received newsletter the inclusion of Science and Technology file. It carries more significance as the present day security is greatly depended upon technological developments and it is difficult to conceive of security operations today without its technical components. In fact, it would be ideal if the Science and Technology section becomes a regular feature in your bulletins. If I may suggest, this technical part of the News letter can disseminate useful information on some of the new and exciting technological developments that are progressively taking place to strengthen capabilities of active and passive protection. It was very informative and elaborate with the addition of Book review on airport security- a subject which is going to be very important in days to come in the aftermath of Iraq war and other anti terrorists measures taken by Indian and other Govts. The tribute to Late Shri K,N. Prasad IPS was a laudatory attempt as most of Police and Intelligence Officers die unwept and unsung. This tradition of paying respect to the Police Officers, I hope, is emulated by other agencies too.
