IISSM’s Two-day Training Workshop on “Management of Risk, Safety  & Business Continuity - Principles and Case Studies”.

The International Institute of Security and Safety Management (IISSM), which had conducted an International Seminar at Chennai, focused on Terrorism, in December last year, organized a two-day Workshop at Chennai on March 27-28, 2003, on a very topical theme of "Management of Risk, Safety and Business Continuity - Principles and Case Studies". The Principal Instructor in the Workshop was an internationally-acclaimed expert Mr. Raj Lakha, Chief Executive, Safety Solution (UK) Limited. The course contents were similar to the programme conducted for the International Labour Organisation (ILO) at Turin, Italy. 

The participants were middle level executives coming from banking and other financial institutions, public and private sector industries, private security organizations as also from the government. It was a highly participative programme with practical exercises carried out so as to ensure that the learning outcomes get duly imbibed. Every participants opined that such programmes should be repeated once a while.

The participants were awarded: Certificate of Participation by the IISSM and a Certificate of Attendance and Awareness on behalf of the Safety Solutions (UK) Limited. The IISSM also gave complimentary Affiliate Membership for the year to all the participants.
