Paul is New Delhi Police Chief

New Delhi -Dr. K.K. Paul, has taken over as the new Commissioner of Delhi Police from R.S. Gupta with effect from February 1, 2004. An IPS officer of the 1970 batch, Paul had earlier served as Joint Commissioner of Police (crime). He had also worked for the Research and Analysis Wing and the Intelligence Bureau.

Anil Baijal is new Union Home Secretary

New Delhi - Anil Baijal, vice-chairman of Delhi Development Authority (DDA), has since taken over as the Union home Secretary. He is 1969 IAS (UT cadre) batch officer.

New Delhi - Shri J.K. Sinha, has taken over as the new Director General of C.R.P.F. on 31st January, 2004 from Shri Satish Chandra Chaube, who has superannuated.
