IISSM Takes On DGR Courses:

IISSM has managed another feather in its cap. IISSM has conducted in New Delhi very successfully the Sub Fire and Assistant Security Officers Course sponsored by DGR from 2nd Jan 2006 to 28th Jan 2006. All subjects related to Fire and Security including Industrial Disputes Act, Minimum Wages Act, Security Legislation Bill etc were covered to the entire satisfaction of the students. The students were serving Junior Commissioned officers, nearing retirement age. They were very keen to learn so that they could step into Civil Life comfortably. The feedback from the students was very encouraging and they wanted that the duration of the course be enhanced to 8 weeks. They were fully satisfied with the standard of instruction.

It is a matter of great satisfaction that IISSM has been allotted six such courses by the DGR (3 for officers and 3 for JCO’s) for the year 2006-2007.
