Courses Schedule in 2008

Certification Course for Certified Security Professionals.

The Certification Courses conducted of IISSM are widely known and acknowledged. In order to meet the increasing demand from practising executives, it is proposed to organise four (4) such Courses in 2008, all in New Delhi for the present, as per the schedule below. The exact venue will be intimated to the registered participants duly. Suitable number of participants will be accommodated in each batch on the basis of first come first serve.

March 12-15, 2008.
May 14-17, 2008.
July 16-19, 2008.
September 17-20, 2008.

We wish to clarify that no separate CSM course is planned for the present. We do sincerely hope those attending the programme will find it highly useful. All concerned are, therefore, welcome to join this programme along with others whom they think would be in a position to benefit from it at this level.

Sub: Theme, Dates and Venue of IISSM-2008.

Victory be to all members of the IISSM fraternity! We salute you for having successfully faced yet another tumultuous year for the security profession, especially in the Asian Continent. IISSM once gain pledges itself to serve you with its mission: “Professionalise the Profession.”

It gives me great satisfaction to share with you in the very beginning of the New Year that the theme, dates as also the venue of IISSM-2008, XVIIIth in the Series, have since been finalised as below:

• Dates: November 12-14, 2008.
• Venue: Goa (Venue hotel is being worked out).
• Theme: Security and Loss Prevention Industry: Convergence - A Necessity.

If your enthusiasm at the recently-concluded IISSM-2007 is any indication, we are sure you would be suitably marking your engagement diary straightaway. Hopefully, thanks to friends of the Goa Chapter of the IISSM / Security Association of Goa who are in the forefront for IISSM-2008, we should be able to work out a suitable package for those planning to make a family visit to the festive city of Goa during IISSM-2008.

And, if some of you will be interested to join us speakers at IISSM-2008, please do let us have your CV and know the areas of your specialisation within the broad parameters of the theme announced. You may also please feel free to suggest the names of eminent experts / speakers with contact details so that we could get in touch with them duly.
