Dear Sir,

I have gone through the recent news letter of IISSM which is really filled with important security news. I Thank you very much for congratulating me through latest newsletter.

I have got some doubt in report writing of investigations. While preparing the final reports of any investigations, whether the investigator should write the reports in first person or in third person.

Because I have gone through some books on investigations as one supported for writing reports in first person and other is supported for third person.

Your input in this regard is most valuable for me.

I request you to add investigations as one of the topic in CSM certification course. As per me none other than you is the best man in India to teach the subject.

We are very lucky to have dedicated person like you in security profession.

Regards

Dear Mr. Nath,

It was good to read the Newsletter after about a gap of two months. This letter had interesting artcles in the form of Book review by Col N.N. Bhatia and Espionage and Business by Capt Tyagi. Both had depth since a painstaking effort was made to review the contents of each book.

I would appeal to both reviewers to keep us busy reading reviews by them every month. Thanks Mr. Nath for everything else in the newsletter

Dear Shri Nath,

I appreciate the efforts made by you to bring out the latest Newsletter of IISSM, received by me on 25th of June-07

I do not know what prompted the IISSM to change the venue from Mumbai to New Delhi. Delhi weather is cold during December while Mumbai is very pleasent. we have, however, the advantage of getting of Senior personalities of the Cetral Govt. to address our gathering. All told, the choice is welcome.

Kindly let me know the Theme of the ensuing confrence so that paper or papers can be prepared and sent to you in good time.

With best wishes,

Your sincerely

Sir,

You have constantly been encouraging me to write for iissm news letter.
your continuous insistence reminds me of an essay written by french writer Mopatsan titled "Writing a letter." This essay, in fact, was part of our english syllabus in graduation. In this, the writer narrates his early days hasitance and difficulties in penning down his ideas despite having great urge .Similar is the case with me .

I recall my days with SIS where i was an ocassional contributor to its in- house magzine. In case of IISSM, nature of newsletter content is different from that of any in- house magazine. However, i am graduating myself into it and shall fulfill your desire soon.

Thanks and with high regards,
