Thank you very much for regularly mailing me the IISSM Newsletter. The number of sections that figure in the newsletter itself speaks of the pains your esteemed institution takes to bring out such an interesting and enlightening document. I find it extremely useful even though I am from a non security discipline. Kindly keep sending me this document. I shall send a text on my experiences in the field of security as and when I feel there is something to share.

Dear Sir,
I have sensed some dejection in the editorial, though this is for the first time! It is true that security professionals are not very good readers, for that matter they are not good writer either! That they remain complacent in their surrounding is well known. Yet some few crusaders like you shake them out from their somnambulistic stupor and show them new vistas of their professional glory! You have been doing this since long through the seminars, trainings courses and writings, and, let no amount of discouragement or de-motivation affect your indomitable zeal for sharing the knowledge and wisdom!
Many interesting and use worthy features have been added in the newsletter which has now become wholesome. The article by Gen. Afsir Karim is very lucidly written and shades new light to old problem. Please be kind enough to provide his e-mail ID so that I can be in touch with him
Thank you very much for the kind courtesy of extending me a copy of IISSM's May 04 Newsletter. Its contents were very indeed. Some of the articles provide fresh insights and perspectives on current issues confronting security professionals at home and abroad. Congratulations on the release of your book" Intelligence Imperatives for India". Please keep up the good work. My very best wishes and regards to you and the IISSM for its forthcoming seminar at Hyderabad on 23 & 24 November 2004. I wish you and the IISSM every success in all your endeavours.
Yours Sincerely
