UK takes cue from America to set
up new anti-terror force
Britain has recently announced
plans for a new force of Army volunteers ready to be deploy in the event
of attacks like those of September 11 on New York and Washington.
The force, Defence sources said could be 6,000 strong
and drawn from reservists of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army and
Royal Air Force, would bolster efforts of police and civil authorities
in the event of an attack

Al Oaeda vows new attack
Osama Bin Laden's A1 Qaeda movement will strike again
against the United States and with at least the same force as on September
11, according to a spokesman quoted by a Sunday newspaper
Al Qaeda "will continue to work to strike against
the United States", the network's spokesman Suleiman Abu Ghaith
vowed in an article published on an Islamic website, Al-Hayat daily
said.
