Some friend enquired what exactly was the objective of the IISSM Newsletter and whose interest it is supposed to cater. We plead inability to find the proper answer. Well, we thought we had started with special focus on security and security-related issues but have since drifted into areas much bigger than what could be covered by only security interests. We hope we are correct. Even though the thrust of the Newsletter is on security issues, information of general interest or information that could possibly interest non-security citizens as well, if we may put it that way, is also catered. Discerning viewers/readers will notice the file on General Information is gaining fat. While we have specific reports on the private security system in Spain and the introduction of women net magazine by terrorists, we also have pieces on how to make horror film or run a lie-factory in real life. Lessons learnt by senior management executives from home practices are also value additions to the Newsletter.
